A Poem on Salvation
MIND WHAT YOU SOW
By Benjamin S C Ugoji
There a soil in the mind of which has the ability to produce thought according to its kind
There is a Spirit in the heart of man which in union with the spirit of man produces rich harvest in terms of character.
There is a guiding Light which when it takes hold of a man’s’soul; quickens his body and leads him to everlasting pasture which is forever green.
Hour by hour, day after day, week by week, and year after year; the Light of Life shines on man’s path.
Gradually but slowly but surely, man sows the seed of his destiny
He has the freedom to who he gives his heart (spirit) to:
To himself; to fulfil his earthly desires, this leads to death- (spiritual separation from His creator).
Or to His creator to gradually conform to the divine e nature and in exchange receive the gift of eternal life.
To have the exceedingly great knowledge of God the Father: and His Son Jesus Christ.
To whom will you give your members?
To self to please the sin nature
To Satan: to fight the cause of God.
To God to fulfil the reason for the cross
And therefore receive your soul’s salvation.
Man you have the choice to decide; don’t leave it to chance.
Therefore you DECIDE!
But know that you have NOW to decide.
The past is gone; the present is where you now live where you have the ability to decide.
The future is uncertain!
The seed you sow today, the choice you make now, could determine how you spend your eternity.
Man you have the freedom and choice.
What do you do?
What do you sow?
More than ever mind what you sow

So much truth to be found in each line of your poem. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful and thought provoking. I learnt from my Dad that sometimes what we sow, even our children reap it. (but that's a long story...)
Thank you, Sir.
Thank you, a great reminder and greater advice! The past is the past, and there may not be a tomorrow, its right now that counts. God is always there waiting for us, no one lives on this earth forever. I often wonder if Christians who have grown up in a Christian family have any idea how blessed they are to not have had to go through, live through and reap what we who had grown up in the world have had to. Yes even non Christians reap what they sow, I believe its called, “What goes around, comes around.” . . . But! Jesus can change your life in a instant! Praise the Lord!!
I came by today to ask you to pray for my country, The United States of America. We are about to have an election and we need God to be God of our country again!
Thanking you in advance! Blessings!
